While art may be the last thing on your mind during these turbulent times, Black artists have been working overtime to keep us all sane. We marked the end of Black History Month by diving into two questions – what is Black art, and are Black artists in America expected (or is it necessary for them) to challenge race, racism and the pitfalls of “representation?”
