MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERS
We believe that the act of proclaiming who we have been, who we are, and who we are becoming is a politics of freedom and agency. So, we crafted this space to expand conversations about culture, identity, spirituality, activism, intentional joy, and liberation- through the lens of Black Muslim women who have learned, and are learning, to boldly author themselves into existence.
We are inheritors of wisdom and descendants of ingenuity- a duo of writers, artists, and abolitionists who enjoy exploring life, good food, music, justice, truth-telling conversations, and intentional joy.
We prioritize the voices and experiences of Black Muslim women and welcome those with a social and political kinship to share this space with us.
